Following its Russian premiere with the company in April 2019, the Bolshoi Ballet presents three further performances of The Winter’s Tale in the opening weeks of its 2019/20 season. The ballet, commissioned and premiered by The Royal Ballet and National Ballet of Canada in 2014, is based on a scenography adapted by Joby and choreographer Christopher Wheeldon from Shakespeare’s play.
