Path of Miracles in London on Good Friday

The New London Singers will bring Path of Miracles back to London in its entirety for the first time since its premiere, in a performance for Good Friday at St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square.

Path of Miracles is Joby’s 2005 a cappella choral work describing the ancient Christian pilgrimage across northern Spain to Santiago de Compostela, the city whose cathedral is the supposed resting place of St James. The hour-long work is divided into four movements, each of which takes the name of one of four major towns along the route — Roncesvalles, Burgos, Leon and finally, Santiago.

The concert begins at 6pm and is followed at 8pm by a performance of Mozart’s Requiem, as well as other works by Mozart and Bach. To read more about the choir or book tickets, please visit the the New London Singers’ website.
